Buyers from India and China showed great interest in to the 3rd Bursa International Marble fair; organized by Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with TUYAP Bursa Fair Organizations and Mine Marble Manufacturer and Industrial Business Association (MADSIAD). The fair exhibited nearly 2 thousand marbles weighting 50 thousand tons. Foreign business professionals stated that Turkish marbles has the best quality in the market.
Foreign buyers from more than 40 countries visited the Bursa International Block Marble Fair, which is the only block of marble fair in the world which was set up within indoor area organized as part of BTSO Commercial Safari Project.
“INDIA’S CHOICE WILL ALWAYS BE TURKEY”
Mr. Anil Kumar Toshnival; Sector Representative from India said that Bursa International Block Marble Fair will be a famous brand in the near future as it made a big improvement in a short time like 3 years. The block marbles exhibited in the fair stated that the quality of the marbles is quite high. “We come to Bursa because we know very well the richness of Turkey in the manufacturing of block marble. I have been coming to Bursa continuously since the first opening of the fair. Because in India, Turkish marble is preferred more. Turkish marble, which has rich colors, attracts more attention of Indian people.”

Mr. Rajiv Agarwal; Sector Representative from India spoke highly of Bursa Block Marble Fair and stated that they have been trading with Turkish companies for a decade. “I have been coming to Bursa for 2 years. The visual show of this fair is pretty good. The quality of Turkish marble is at world standards.”
BUYERS LINE UP TO ORDER
Mr. Xiangyu Zhang; Co-Director of Mars Marble company in China said that they had a chance to observe the marbles and also see the marble quarries in the organized fair by coming to Bursa. “Turkish marble is used in many different areas in China. We have customers waiting in line to buy Turkish marbles.”
A LARGE QUANTITY OF MARBLES ARE ALREADY BEEN SOLD
Mr. Adem Burukhamzaoğlu; Finance Manager of Ay Kardesler Marble Company mentioned that they have been manufacturing marbles in four different quarry in Bursa and also thanked to BTSO, MADSIAD and TUYAP for organizing the fair. “A large amount of the marble was sold before the fair began. Our domestic and foreign customers are very satisfied with the fair. Apart from China and India, there is a special interest in Bursa marble from different countries.”
NATURAL STONE WILL NEVER BE OUT OF DATE
Mr. Erol Yüce; Chairman of Yüce Mermer Company and Vice President of MADSIAD said that the Bursa Block Marble fair will continue its growth in 5 years and added that Turkey has one the best marble reserves in the world. “More than 500 colors and design marble were exhibited at the fair. It's a fact that the fashion of natural stone will never end. In China, an apartment which has no natural stone worth $ 1 million, but when it is equipped with 200 square meters of marble, this figure rises to $ 2 million, that is why it is very Turkish marble is substantial. I would like to thank to Mr. İbrahim Burkay; President of the board of BTSO and TUYAP Bursa Fair Organization for realizing this fair.” He added by stating that critical promotional activities were carried out in the Far Eastern countries before the fair and that they wanted to introduce the fair in Europe and the Middle East market in the coming years.
