Bursa Grows Turkey Grows



Textile Businessmen Are in Frankfurt am Main for The First Fair of the Year

Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry carrying on its works in line with export-based development objectives of Turkey, went to Germany as the first business trip of the year within the scope of Global Fair Agency Project. The BTSO delegation of about 100 people came together with representatives of non-governmental organizations and German companies in Frankfurt, before ‘Heimtextil’ which is considered one of the biggest fairs in the world.

Mr. Burak Karartı; Consul General of Turkey in Frankfurt am Main, Mr. Salih Taşdirek; Vice President of Hanou Chamber of Commerce; Mr. Musa Aydın; President of MUSIAD Hessen Branch, Mr. Paul Smitzh; Director of International Relations Branch of Frankfurt Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Okan Özoğlu; Secretary General of Turkish - German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Mümin Karacakayalılar; Secretary General of UIB and representatives from Turkish and German companies attended the meeting held at the Frankfurt Hilton Hotel in order to improve foreign trade of the textile sector by Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

DELEGATION OF 100 PEOPLE FROM BURSA

Mr. Hasan Çepni; Member of the Assembly of BTSO and Head of the BTSO Fair Visitor Delegation for the Frankfurt Fair, gave a speech the opening ceremony of the meeting, said that they were happy to take part in the first fair of the year with a delegation of 100 business world representatives within the scope of Global Fair Agency Project. Stating that BTSO has contributed more than 800 exporters to the city in the last 4 years with its export-oriented organizations, Mr. Çepni said “This is the most important indicator of the achievements we have succeed when we are surrounded by the common mind. We have also attended to the world's largest home textile fair with about 100 companies from Bursa. I believe that the companies participating in Heimtextil will set up new business connections and broaden their horizons. I would like to express my sincere thanks to İbrahim Burkay, the President of BTSO and to the Board of Directors.”  

“I CONGRATULATE ON BTSO FOR ITS WORKS”

Mr. Burak Karartı; Consul General of Turkey in Frankfurt am Main said that Bursa is one of the most important city for the Turkish economy. Stating that export rates of Bursa is very important for Turkey to achieve its objectives, Mr. Karartı said “We would like to contribute to this important organization carried out by BTSO as best as we can. I hope that the bilateral business negotiations conducted today will be fruitful. I congratulate on BTSO for its effective efforts. “Because as Bursa Grows Turkey Grows.” 

Mr. Musa Aydın; President of MUSIAD Hessen Branch, said that BTSO has continued to participate in the biggest fairs of the world with a bevy of delegation. Reminding the cooperation protocol signed between Bursa and Hessen, Mr. Aydın said “We desire to develop trade between our region and Bursa further. The works of BTSO have filled us with pride.”

“BURSA COMPANIES GAINED STABILITY”

Mr. Paul Smitzh, Director of International Relations Branch of Frankfurt Chamber of Commerce and Industry mentioned that stability is the base for a successful economy, and Bursa companies have been participating in fair organizations consistently. Pointing out that there is an active participation from Bursa to Heimtextile, Mr. Smitz said that he thought that visits would result in significant cooperation.

 

Mr. Salih Taşdirek; Vice President of Hanou Chamber of Commerce congratulated BTSO for its organization. Stating that they are pleased to be working cooperatively with BTSO, Mr. Taşdirek said “We would like Bursa to increase its exports to Germany.” BTSO contributes to our country with its works.

BTSO members will be participating in Heimtextil, the largest home textile fair in the world, both as visitors and participants with the support of KOSGEB between the date of 9-12 January 2018. KOSGEB subsidize BTSO members up to 3.000 Turkish Liras for close countries.
