Mr. Levente Magyar; Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary explained the investment opportunities in Hungary to Bursa business world. Mr. Levente Magyar stated that Hungary is tolerant of Turkish investors, and said: “We provide significant tax piles and inducement to Turkish investors. We are waiting for companies of Bursa to make to invest in our country.”
Mr. Cüneyt Şener, and Mr. İsmail Kuş, Vice presidents of the board of directors of BTSO, welcomed Mr. Levente Magyar; Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary up in chamber. Mr. Cüneyt Şener who gave a speech at the meeting in which business world representatives of Bursa participated, stated that Hungarian government has always supported in the process of full membership to the European Union. Mr. Şener also mentioned that 173-billion-dollar export was carried out from Bursa to Hungarian in 2016, drew attention to the level of export which is 75 billion dollars in the first half of 2017.
“WE SHOULD BUILD NEW COOPERATION”
Mr. Cüneyt Şener explained that 263 companies trade from Bursa to Hungary, mentioned that Hungarian markets have great importance for economy of Bursa. Mr. Şener emphasized that businessman from Hungary are welcomed in Bursa within the scope of Commercial Safari Projects, said: “Trade bridges between Hungary and Turkey are improving day by day. We must increase this potential and cooperation. As BTSO, we are ready to give all the support required to develop this cooperation in every field. We should build new cooperation’s together. In this regard, our economic relations will develop further”
“WE HAVE LOGISTICAL ADVANTAGES”
Mr. Levente Magyar; Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary shared information about the Hungarian economy and investment opportunities. Mr. Magyar stated that Hungary has an export volume of 100 billion Euros and they give great importance to export. “Many countries in the world prefer Hungary. Because our tax rates are very low. We have logistics and geographical advantages. We are the transit point for Balkan and Eastern countries.”
“WE MUST MAKE USE OF OPPORTUNITIES”
Mr. Magyar stated that they provide significant support to Turkish businessman and the support given by Hungarian government is not given by any European country. He expressed that Turkey is an important and strategic country for Hungary. ” Turkish investors are welcomed in our country. Important companies from Turkey invested heavily in the Hungarian market. Some companies want to develop their investments even more. We know Bursa's experience and potential in automotive, machinery and many other sectors. We have many common areas in the field. Our most important sector is automotive. If it were not for the automotive industry, we could not be anywhere where we are today. At this point, we must increase cooperation between the companies of Bursa and the Hungarian business world.”
“THERE IS A GREAT AFFINITY FOR THE TURKISH PEOPLE”
Mr. Adnan Polat; President of DEİK/Turkey-Hungary Business Council said that Hungary and Turkey have common values in history and culture. Mr. Polat who invited companies of Bursa to cooperate with the Hungarian business world, said: “The connections between Hungary and Turkey are very strong. When you descend into the depths of history you will see that the people of Hungary are our compatriots. There is a great affinity and love for the Turkish people.
HUNGARY ALWAYS STANDS BY TURKEY Mr. Polat who expressed that Hungary is a strategic country for Turkey because it is at the centre of Europe, stated: “Hungary is the only country in Europe today that gives unconditional support to Turkey in all matters. As private sector, we need to increase our cooperation with the European companies. Hungary is an important country in this respect. The Hungarian government gives serious support to Turkish companies. Our companies of Bursa must be in Hungary”
